## Overview
This project is a **LoRA-based style adaptation** trained on **PonyDiffusion XL** to transform anime and illustration-focused SDXL outputs into **sketch-like and draft illustration variants**.
The goal is stylistic modification rather than subject memorization, preserving composition while emphasizing linework and reduced rendering polish.
## Training Base and Method
- **Base model:** PonyDiffusion XL (SDXL-compatible)
- **Training framework:** kohya_ss
- **Format:** LoRA (.safetensors)
- **Precision:** fp16 mixed precision
Although trained on PonyDiffusion XL, the LoRA is intended to be applied to **SDXL models that generate stylized art or anime**, not photorealistic imagery.
## Intended Use
This LoRA is designed for:
- Anime and illustration-style SDXL models
- Draft, concept-art, and sketch aesthetics
- Educational and experimental workflows involving style fine-tuning
**Not intended for:**
- Photorealistic SDXL models
- Real-world or photographic content
- High-fidelity color illustration
Applying the LoRA outside its intended scope may result in degraded or unstable outputs.
## Style Characteristics
When enabled, the LoRA tends to:
- Emphasize visible lineart and contours
- Simplify shading and textures
- Reduce color saturation
- Produce a hand-drawn or unfinished illustration look
## Usage Notes
- Recommended LoRA strength: `0.6 – 1.0`
- Best results are achieved with prompts that include stylistic cues such as:
sketch, rough lineart, pencil drawing, draft illustration
- Compatible with common SDXL inference tools (AUTOMATIC1111, ComfyUI, Diffusers).
## Limitations
- Results vary depending on base model and prompt structure
- Strong LoRA weights may oversimplify fine details
- Designed for stylistic transformation, not realism or accuracy
## File
- LoRA weights provided in `.safetensors` format

|
| 14 |
+
|
| 15 |
+
## Model Details
|
| 16 |
+
|
| 17 |
+
### Model Description
|
| 18 |
+
|
| 19 |
+
This model is a **LoRA fine-tuning module** for **SDXL-based anime and art-style image generation models**.
|
| 20 |
+
It transforms polished renders into **sketch-like / draft illustration** variants by emphasizing linework, rough shading, and reduced color saturation while preserving composition and subject structure.
|
| 21 |
+
|
| 22 |
+
- **Developed by:** WorthyHuman1
|
| 23 |
+
- **Model type:** LoRA (Low-Rank Adaptation) for SDXL
|
| 24 |
+
- **License:** CreativeML Open RAIL-M
|
| 25 |
+
- **Finetuned from model:** SDXL 1.0–compatible anime/art checkpoints

|
| 30 |
+
## Uses
|
| 31 |
+
|
| 32 |
+
### Direct Use
|
| 33 |
+
|
| 34 |
+
Load this LoRA into any **SDXL-compatible pipeline** that supports LoRA weights to produce sketch-style outputs from text prompts.
|
| 35 |
+
|
| 36 |
+
Common use cases:
|
| 37 |
+
- Generating draft/concept-art sketches
|
| 38 |
+
- Exploring stylistic variations
|
| 39 |
+
- Educational demonstrations of style fine-tuning
|
| 40 |
+
|
| 41 |
+
### Downstream Use
|
| 42 |
+
|
| 43 |
+
Can be combined with:
|
| 44 |
+
- Other LoRAs (character, pose, lighting)
|
| 45 |
+
- Custom SDXL pipelines and workflows
|
| 46 |
+
|
| 47 |
+
### Out-of-Scope Use
|
| 48 |
+
|
| 49 |
+
- Photorealistic image generation
|
| 50 |
+
- High-fidelity full-color illustration
|
| 51 |
+
- Deceptive or misleading content generation
|
| 52 |
+
|
| 53 |
+
---
|
| 54 |
+
|
| 55 |
+
## Bias, Risks, and Limitations
|
| 56 |
+
|
| 57 |
+
- Output quality depends on base model and prompt phrasing.
|
| 58 |
+
- Strong LoRA weights may oversimplify textures or reduce color fidelity.
|
| 59 |
+
- Style reflects patterns in the training data and may not generalize uniformly across all art styles.
|
| 60 |
+
|
| 61 |
+
### Recommendations
|
| 62 |
+
|
| 63 |
+
- Experiment with LoRA strengths between `0.6` and `1.0`.
|
| 64 |
+
- Use sketch-related keywords: `sketch`, `rough lineart`, `pencil drawing`, `unfinished illustration`.
|
| 65 |
+
- Combine with an appropriate SDXL base model for best results.
|
| 66 |
+

| 69 |
+
## How to Get Started
|
| 70 |
+
|
| 71 |
+
**Suggested prompt keywords:**
|
| 72 |
+
sketch_style, rough lineart, pencil drawing, unfinished illustration
|
| 73 |
+
|
| 74 |
+
**Recommended LoRA strength:** `0.6 – 1.0`
|
| 75 |
+
|
| 76 |
+
Compatible with common SDXL tools (Diffusers, AUTOMATIC1111, ComfyUI, etc.).
|
| 77 |
+

|
| 79 |
+
|
| 80 |
+
## Training Details
|
| 81 |
+
|
| 82 |
+
### Training Data
|
| 83 |
+
|
| 84 |
+
Trained on a curated dataset of sketch-style and draft illustration images, filtered to emphasize line-based structure and reduced rendering polish. Training focused on style transformation rather than subject memorization.
