About the Lab
We are a team of researchers at MBZUAI working on various topics related to AI and NLP methods applied to education. These include, among other themes:
- Development of Intelligent Tutoring Systems
- Dialogue-based models for learning and teaching
- Evaluation of AI models for education
- Pedagogical alignment of generative AI models
- AI models for STEM subjects, language learning, and beyond
- Faithful learner and teacher simulations
We are open to collaborations and welcoming to new members who are interested in working on these or related topics in the domain of AI / NLP in Education.
